We attented the Sea Ray Press Event 2007 in Athens, Greece. Jan Koopmans, the international marketing manager invited us over. Kappa Marine provided the boats as was Kerpa Marine. Manos Koumiotis took care of the practical issues 'on the spot' which he did perfectly. No doubt about that. He recently joined Kappa Marine and was in charge of the event. No need to say he did a fantastic job keeping the bunch of journalists happy! The weather was looking good and a windforce 3 didn't seem to bother the experienced journalists. Most boats could take this weather easily. Thursday evening was every organisers nightmare: the wind was suddenly taking on storm proportions and we had to litteraly cut the mooring lines to be able to sail the boats to safer places. Overall we can say that this event was a succes. We all flew home with a good feeling about this. These were the boats tested:
